  1. The worst experience and the worst resort we ever been stay ever TRUST ME or you will obsoletely regret. There are no fresh water even tap water or shower all salty swimming pool salty and dirty as hell extremely dirty every where in the resort all staff members acted like we are a homeless people asking for a place stay especially a front desk and the cook acted like we are begging for food any way over all just no body f-cking care about guest at all The food is horrible DO NOT believe in those pictures or great reviews they are all fake hotel can purchase great reviews now and picture can be edited JUST DO NOT GO WHALA BAVERO

  2. Catalonia Bavaria is the worst! Very dirty. The food is not good at all, no matter what you eat you will have a stomach ache. If you come here you better bring plenty of pepto. Cold food, bad hygiene of workers preparing food. Almost everyday here water was off for multiple hours, which is really scary because they were still serving food. Stay away from this hotel!!

  3. What do you think about Ocean Blue and Sand? I already know the beach isn't good there but as far as there is a beach nearby I do not care much about it really as most of the time I spend at the pools. My concern is food, is it decent there? I could choose better resorts like Lopesan or Royalton Chic but things which usually come free of charge at most all inclusive (like activities, gym ) are paid extra at those hotels. I sort of feel hooked to Ocean Blue free bowling alley and archery, the gym also looks decent. I also like quieter resorts, don't mind music at the pools but cannot stand noise at night as I am easily woken up, also the thin walls can be a nightmare. How are all those things at Ocean Blue and Sand? I had a not so nice experience at Barcelo in Riviera Maya, Mexico and now I am really afraid of making the wrong choice for the second time.

  10. Looking for an all inclusive in the DR to celebrate our 40th anniversary in Feb. 2024. We desire comfort, relaxation, great beach, peace and a cigar friendly location. Both of us enjoy premium, hand rolled cigars (many from the DR). We don't smoke indoors at all, but also don't wish to be ostercized to a corner.

I was in punta cana when I was 17 with my parents and it was a torture, since we arrive we almost waited all day for our rooms to be ready, when we got there, the beds where dirty, one day the cleaning staff didn't cleaned the beds and drank beer, they leaved the beer cans in the trash can, the air conditioner didn't work and we didn't got any towels, after that for a moment everything was great, but then, the Hurricane Irma was getting closer, they moves us to another room (that wasn't bad), but then everything went to a disaster when the hurricane passes, there was people waiting to get in our room, when we got out to eat something the keys to our room didn't work, the TV went crazy changing channels by itself, and the cleaning staff stole my tablet charger, the pool, the food restaurants the beach and the water park was amazing, but just that, the rest was a disaster

  18. Personally, i went to about 5 resorts in DR, and the worst one i have ever went to is occidental caribe. First of all, the food.. DISGUSTING!! Everything in the buffet is dry, and its just not good. Also, the in general food we could eat there was only rice and bread, rice was normal but bread was hard as hell . I lost pounds staying there for 7 freaking days. The restaurant food was the best overall but still not good. Also made us wait about 1h to give us food, when we got it, it was cold. They represent as professionals.. Now for the rooms, walls are thin but like im telling you. We could hear everything from other rooms, couldnt sleep and it was just annoying in general. They were literal bugs in our bed, shows that service is not really servicing ahah… Not talking about the way nothing was being clean in the hallways.. There were also some kind of horrible partys well we did found that horrible, maybe not everyone does. It was very boring cause everything there were is music and same food as the buffet food lmao. Beach and pool wasnt bad at all to be honest but this hotel is just terrible. Definitely never coming back.

  26. At the Paradisus Palma Real -The resort is a waste of money. Spending $350-$400/nt is not good enough for them. They cater to members and treat regular guests poorly. They mention several restaurants in there advertisements but only have a few open at a time, it appears they are failing as a resort. Menu descriptions are false. The specialized restaurants are ridiculous/ low quality. The Blue Agave served very old pork I had to spit out. The majority of the menu at Mina steakhouse is substandard. The Malva restaurant is the same food as the Lunchbox, these are there general restaurants. One will close and the other might open. Food is very bland, simple things like cooked beans/refried beans no restaurant had. Tokimeku was a ghost town and sketchy. There were several incidents with stares, attitude and rudeness from several employees including the female manager. Lying is normal. Service is terrible for towels, room service, drinks, etc. Some in our group were reoeatedly flirted/sexual innuendo everywhere they went and couldn’t relax. They were very annoyed. Several employees pushed for internet reviews, wanting you to scan QR codes after they get you food or drink. They tell you to mention there name. There is no thought for respecting or assisting guests when you have problems with room or dining, look angry.

  29. I went to many resorts in Punta Cana and because I only go to 4 and 5 star resorts my WORST experience was Occidental Caribe . They have so many rooms and every weekend they let "home crowd" in there for 2 days with low prices just to fill it up rooms . It was practically impossible to get a good night sleep at those days. In addition to that crowd that come in was offering to sale drugs to the hotel guests as well as "hitting" on our wives ,sisters and daughters in very aggressive manner. I wouldn't go to that hotel again even if they offer me for free and it's not just that hotel ,unfortunately. Lately even newer hotels like Royalton and some others having same issues . I was sitting in pool area and beside me was young couple from Toronto Canada . Two members of so called "Entertainment team" was without any respect staring on that guy girlfriend even when they so it that they fill uncomfortable. Poor people just pick up their towels and went back to their room or somewhere else. Even my 14 years old daughter was approached by those guys from "entertainment team ". They are praying on white females regardless of their age. People in PC should understand that 90% of tourists go there to relax and they don't want to be harassed that way and that's why we go to the RESORTS where we fill more safe , BUT NOT LATELY . It is except to people of Dominican R. to resolve those issues as they living from tourism . We can go elsewhere

Im going in two weeks. never been to carribean. i have no idea what im doing. going by myself, to get away, have fun and catch some sun. is it more like family destination or singles can also find their corner. i went to puerto vallarta last year and i had great time! hope punta cana is amazing tooπŸŽ‰

I live here and have worked for the chain that belongs to the unlimited vacation club… these: Believe, whala, emotions by hodelpa, sunscape, anything related to ocean blue and sand, are some of the low end resorts that cost the same as others but lack lots of what the high-end ones like secretes Dreams hard rock etc have. I highly recommend to do your studies and watch videos like this one to get your information before you book

  44. Princess Bavaro Family Club is all but family friendly! I would certainly not recommend this industrial hotel with young children! The rooms have BIG safety issues. We had to leave and were not refunded the 11 nights we could not spend there. I lost all my money but not my children thank god!

  48. All the resorts in Punta suck, Period! Spend your money elsewhere. The culture here is absolutely rude & arrogant! I’ve never seen anything like this throughout my travels! Def bottom of my travel list.
