hello Paddy, I just came across your videos and i am planning a second visit to Thailand in December. I enjoyed it so much last year that I decided to club it with another country this year again. I will only have 6 days in Thailand, and I definitely want to see some party scenes in Pattaya. I was hoping you could help me figure out what would be best to do in those 6 days. I love nightlife and I love nature and beaches.

❤️🙏🏻Paddy! We left Koh Samui as so many tourists. Koh Phangan was more laid back. Zen Beach has amazing sunsets & was great atmosphere. Much cheaper as well(2020) maybe more expensive now. Can recommend Dragon Huts if you are ever there again.💞💋
Arpita Chowdhury says
Loved the video. Thank you for this, it's helpful. Are there any options where we can go on a boat trip at night (after sunset) privately?
Castaway Beach Bungalows and Beach Bar. says
If planning a trip to Thailand, don’t book too many places in advance, hopping is not a good idea unless you have a whole year. “Hopping” to different islands for just a few days, you will only see more waiting, more expensive taxis and packed ferries, not the beaches you came for!Top tip if coming to Thailand for the first time, yes book Bangkok and then have fun travelling to an island, then decide if you want to leave or see more, you can decide when you actually know! Travel is very easily arranged here (don’t use 1togoAsia) and accommodation is always available at all times of year. The weather can change and ferries don’t always run, so don’t overbook. We have seen so many holidays end in disaster when it’s all pre booked. 2 days, here, 2 days there is not a good idea!

We know why you go to Thailand. All your covering up is in vain. Busted.

Lived in Thailand 2 years about 30 years ago. Recommend. scratch Ko Tao and Phi pi and Phuket. Became overdeveloped. Environmentally destroyed dead reefs and European prices. A 30 cent meal now costs 12 dollars and garbage mats float in the water and the coastal reefs are all completely dead. A 20 cent motorbike taxi now costs 10 dollars.
Go remote. Thanks for the list. I will try Thailand again some day.

Stop promoting Thailand an islands as long as this country is abusing and torturing (baby)elephants for tourism and entertainment industries!!! How can you talk about and enjoy beautiful islands while knowing that these animals are suffering and traumatized! Wake up! Warn tourists about these practices, that would suit you! Thanks!

Paddy, Me and my wife (30 year anniversary in June) are coming to Bangkok for 12 days at the end of June. We have never been to Thailand before and we want to tour Bangkok and a couple of islands but cannot figure out how many days we should stay in Bangkok to see the city and temples before heading to the beach and cannot figure out which islands we should try to see on this trip. We are both in our 50's so we are not into bars and night life. Please please help! I just bought all your Thailand guides so we are researching with them. Thanks 🙂
